As Christmas draws near, we come together as friends and family in celebration of the hope, joy and goodwill of the season.
Christmas is much more than just a holiday. It's a time for rekindling the warmth of love and friendship, for sharing moments of joy with our families and loved ones, and for spreading kindness and generosity in our community. As we embrace the chilly winter days, let the warmth of Christmas fill our hearts and homes.
This year, as we have for over two millennia, Christians will gather to celebrate the arrival of hope through the birth of Jesus Christ. And just like at the time of Christ’s birth, the world we live in today is often clouded with uncertainty and darkness. May His message of hope, grace, and forgiveness continue to inspire to build a brighter and more compassionate Canada.
As your Member of Parliament for Haldimand-Norfolk, I am continually inspired by the unwavering spirit of community and generosity of our people. This season, let's make an extra effort to show generosity, extend kindness to our neighbours, shine the true spirit of Christmas in all that we do, and remind ourselves that we are truly blessed.
From my family to yours, I wish you a Merry Christmas and may your New Year be filled with joy, peace, and hope.
Warmest wishes,
Leslyn Lewis,
Member of Parliament for Haldimand-Norfolk
Thank you, Leslyn, for keeping the real meaning of the season present in your messages. We should be celebrating our Christian heritage, not apologizing for it like our acting PM does. We need to respect others, but hot throw away, nor hide our own beliefs. Thank you again for being a refreshing light in a dark world, and for speaking up for what is right.
Thank you Leslyn for sharing your Christmas message. Wishing you and yours, a very Merry Christmas as well. Thank you for also sharing the concerns that the WHO keep pressing for. We must stop the WHO from making decisions for Canadians.
